SAINT WOBIL FASHION SHOW NEW YORK FASHION WEEK FALL WINTER 2012

New York, NY – February 8, 2012 – SAINT WOBIL will be showing its latest collection titled “BENT BUT NEVER BROKEN: The Metaphor of Beauty” during New York Fashion Week on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. The fashion show will be held in the fabulous Stepping Out Studios located at 37 West 26th Street, 9th Floor New York, NY 10010.

This season’s collection took on a direction of its own, reflecting pivotal moments in the young designer’s life of Darius Wobil. Darius found inspiration in the midst of his own calamity, dealing with the remnants of a broken heart using his current state as a stepping stone to create a line fueled with passion, beauty and elegance.

The catwalk signifies the path that leads to the victorious “life after the storm”. Like magic, the silhouette of the Saint Wobil women proudly comes forward. A woman who chooses for the coming season tailored-made pieces from luminous color palettes of white, ivory and cream as well as the radiant color palettes of green and red. As the air is infused with an oriental atmosphere; the blending of red, gold and white creates chromatic images that can only be deciphered as true works of art by the fashionable in mind. This collection consists of couture but wearable pieces; a must for the lifestyle of today’s most fashionable. Be prepare to view special cuts, color hues in strong contrast, such as the infamous Cady jackets, that pays homage to the decorative arts of modern French palaces.

In addition, viewers will admire the superbly cut futuristic silver and white diamond corseted and beautiful bridal faille worn over a finely embroidered dress. The final effect reflects the splendor introducing the new bridal collection which will make its debut this season.
